The new F1 track under construction in Austin, Texas has officially and grandiosely been named “Circuit of the Americas” and will host MotoGP in 2013 in addition to a Formula 1 race in sometime in 2012. [Editor: No, 2013]. The 20-turn, 3.34 mile road course expects to have a capacity for 120,000 fans and will cost approximately $250 million. Still skeptical? Well, given the relationship between the United States and F1 in recent years, you can’t be blamed for that.
