Thirty years after his father Keke scored a remarkable win at the Monaco Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg took a flag-to-flag victory in the sun-drenched principality, holding off Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel through a red-flag and three safety car restarts. An immaculate drive for Nico’s second career GP win and the first ever for Mercedes on the street of Monte Carlo.
“It’s amazing,” said Rosberg. “This is my home, I’ve grown up here all my life and it’s really special. The whole weekend went perfectly.”
