After three consecutive victories for Vettel and Red Bull, the last two of which have been utterly dominant, it does not look as though Alonso and Ferrari are going to be getting it back.

The possible demise of the U.S. Grand Prix at Austin reflects the reality of Formula One in the 21st century. Have money and the F1 circus will fall all over you. Wherever you are. But without the bucks, don't even think about asking Ecclestone for a favor.

The Korean Grand Prix's organizers have warned that the loss-making event is under threat of cancellation unless Formula One Management Ltd. and Bernie Ecclestone give them a cheaper contract.

Sebastian Vettel turned in another dominating performance, overtaking pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton's McLaren on the opening lap to capture the Korean Grand Prix at Yeongam, his 10th victory of the season and 20th of his career.

Lewis Hamilton took pole position in Yeongam ahead of Sunday's Korean Grand Prix. It is the British driver's first pole since Canada in 2010 and the first time a Red Bull has not occupied the top spot all season.

This is a great perspective on a distraught Sebastion Vettel after his RB6 suffered terminal engine failure during the 2010 Korean Grand Prix at Yeongam. Of course, as we know he recovered rather well in the very next race, the last of the season, to win the World Championship. Courtesy of Red Bull

The inaugural Korean grand prix was dominated first by rain and then by encroaching darkness, not to mention a safety car which seemed to hog the limelight for far too long.
