A Canadian Comeback For the Ages

Jenson Button captured his first F1 victory of 2011 in a sensational Canadian Grand Prix that had five safety car periods, a two hour rain delay and lasted for nearly four hours. Button made six trips through pit lane, including one for a drive-through penalty, was dead last at one point and overtook Sebastian Vettel for the victory on the final lap of the race. Read More …

Lewis Hamilton’s Petulance

McLaren driver and former World Champion Lewis Hamilton was penalized three times in two days in Monaco when he attempted impossible overtaking moves that led to inevitable shunts. Afterwards he called the drivers he punted out of the race — Felipe Massa and Pastor Maldonado — “stupid” and said of the penalties, “It’s an absolute frickin’ joke, just ridiculous.” Read More …
