KERS Explained By Martin Brundle

KERS

This is the second in a series of technology-oriented video posts featuring the BBC and commentator (now Sky Sports) Martin Brundle demistifying the engineering world of Formula One. They are excellent for novices but still quite interesting for enthusiasts.

In the embedded clip below, Brundle covers the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), introduced to F1 optionally in 2009 and then reintroduced as a mandatory feature in 2011.
