Renault Bringing Kimi Back

Italian publication Autosprint claims that the Renault F1 Team is interested in replacing Vitaly Petrov with Kimi Räikkönen for the 2011 Formula 1 season. The Finish driver, World Champion in 2007, repeatedly has said that he has not yet decided in which competition will race in the next year, and appears happy driving for Citroen in the WRC rally series. Kimi placed second in his most recent (and first asphalt) rally.

  1. What a pity. Petrov has driven with passion this year. I can’t remember the last time Kimi seemed to care about driving an F1 car.

    1. Petrov has been a revelation this season, and I love the fact that Russia is now represented in F1, but Raikkonen was a consistent winner. It would be great to have him back for that reason alone.
