So Texas billionaire businessman Red McCombs, a founding partner of Circuit of the Americas, paid Bernie Ecclestone his US$25M licensing fee — saying “Mr. Ecclestone received his check today.” And the U.S. Grand Prix at Austin is now set for November 2012. Who would’a thunk it?
