Let Charlie Whiting and the FIA go gunning for Red Bull Racing with technical rule changes. It probably won't make a difference. And it shouldn't.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso has admitted defeat in the battle for this year’s Formula One World Championship title after Sebastian Vettel’s 6th win of the season in Valencia. "If anyone thinks we can win being 8/10 of a second behind Red Bull they don't understand Formula 1."

They tinkered with the rules of Formula One this weekend but it did not change the usual running order as the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber locked out the front row for Sunday’s European Grand Prix. So there is no changing of the guard in Formula One just yet.

We just happened across this photo of Michael Schumacher testing the Mercedes W02 in pre-season 2011 at sunset. It would be nice to know when and where it was taken, but the official Mercedes GP site does not say.

On the eve of the European GP in Valencia, the Aussie paper, Daily Telegraph, has revealed the staggering earnings of the world's leading F1 stars. No surprise is that Fernando Alonso heads the list, Lewis Hamilton coming in second.
